Enjoy your visit to my online gallery. You will see a variety of oil paintings and pyrography.
I paint the softer side of the desert whether it's the harshness of desert plants and landscapes or the interactions of man and animal. I am particularly fond of horses and Dachshunds and cowboys and the western flair. As you stroll through my gallery you will see depth and feeling in the paintings!
Thank you

The Cowgirl is burned on Baltic Birch with Colored Pencil applied and finished with clear Shellac. The frame is 122 year old barnwood by Winds of Time Frames. The Cowgirl was inspired by the many cowgirls in movies and rodeos from the 1930's and 1940's. I had a lot of fun working on her in a vintage style of that period. All the shading and line work is completed with a woodburning pen and then color is applied.
